Does anyone know of any Woodland campsites around Norfolk, even if its just tents allowed and you can park your bus up??? We have looked on coolcamping but nothing on there, any suggestions for websites or indeed anyone know of any Farms that have camping in their woods.... Thanks anyone

It`ll be the banjo`s mate, if you hear them its best to put your foot down! I`ve heard good things about a back to basics campsite at Stiffkey, right near the beach, apparently. I`m yet to try it so i can`t confirm any sign of a forest, sorry!

Stiffkey (pronounced Stukey ) is well thought of apparently although I've only looked, not camped. Manor Farm at East Runton is ok too. Neither are forest. Best forest one I know of is Kelling Heath.

I used to stay here as a nipper (1981 ish) and it was great.

Oh, and FWIW (and going off at a tangent!) the Stukey thing is a fallacy - my great uncle who was born there and lived there all his life (to the ripe old age of 95) always called it Stiffkey and was surprised when people started calling it Stukey. I ink it comes from the cockles in the area being called Stukey/Stewkey blues...

Havnt stayed at Kelling Heath as stay at Breck Farm next door, campfires are allowed, they sell potatoes and marshmellows to roast on the fire, small farm to look at with kids, amazing woodland to play in from the campsite, been there so many times just time for a change....although we are going again in the summer

As above - not in forest but next to it. Breck farm is a cracking site. Just got back from there Sunday - farmer (Richard) is a top bloke... Had to work on Van whilst there and nothing was too much trouble.
