Camping near Newquay
by Starsky2727 » Tue Jun 05, 2018 6:43 pm
In August I’d like to take my 8 year camping in the bus around Newquay. I’ve not been for about 20 years. Any recommendation for good campsites
Thanks

Hi
We are going to this site in July, gets good write ups and looks like it might be quite and for family’s (no knobheads) just inland from WatergateBay.

Cheers John.

There’s a campsite in Porth, nice little valley / beach next to Newquay but walking distance back to the other beaches like Lusty Glaze if you fancy it. Can wander over the road to the beach and the pub and it’s quite a peaceful site.

Hi Arron
It’s a great little campsite, nice and quite, a bit hard to find down some narrow lanes. You can walk to Watergate Bay it takes about 20 mins, if you go in the Bus there’s a car park on the left before the hill down to Watergate £3.50 all day.
If you want to have surfing lessons ask the lady that runs the campsite she will arrange it for you and they will pick you up and drop you off at the end of the day. You will have a great time.
Cheers John.
